I didn't hear Yan or Steve suggesting BRICS is a panacea. We don't yet know if – or how – it will shift the balance of power. But it's odd to think the working class is not affected by geopolitical relations. For example, when a country's assets are frozen, aren't there ripple effects beyond the ruling elite?
